When my husband and I first moved to our lovely property, we had numerous pasque flowers bloom every spring. Sadly, after the Hayman Fire, with the explosion in our deer population, we have only 1 or 2 bloom each year and those disappear quickly.
No experience.
2008
This year, a neighbor with a more protected property let me dig up a couple of her pasque flowers. I transplanted them in the side garden by our house where I can protect them. This image shows one of the pasque flowers in late June after it put out some new leaves. I'll have to wait till next year to see if it sprouts again.2008 I was not able to collect any seeds this year. Next year, I will try to protect what pasque flowers bloom and try to collect the seed both indoor and outdoors.
